Getting started with Fae Farm
Fae Farm offers you a multitude of things to do in order to progress in the game. In this guide, we explain how to get started in Fae Farm and how to optimize your resources.
When you start the game, you'll find yourself with a few tools in your inventory. To complete quests and build items, you'll first need to collect as many resources as possible. Here are 11 things you need to know/do to get started on Fae Farm.
1. Collect all the resources in front of your house
Wood, rocks, grasses and other resources will come in very handy, especially at the start of the game, to complete quests or build items. Since these resources are the first things you have access to, don't hesitate to pick them up.
2. Use the outdoor storeroom to store your items until you can expand your inventory
Since the number of resources available in Fae Farm is very high at the start of the game (as in all games of this type), it's important to know that you can store items in the storeroom outside while you build up your personal inventory.
3. Make the most of your first day
It's very important to know that your first day in the game is UNLIMITED! In fact, it's the only day in the game in which you have an unlimited amount of energy and no clock, which means you won't need to sleep. Use this day to achieve as much as possible! The only way it ends is when you're talking to Merritt, after dropping off items for sale at the market.
4. Catch fish and insects for resale and get florins
The best way to make money (florin) at the start of the game is to sell the fish and insects you find. Then you'll realize that you'll need to build up your inventory.
5. Cooking meals so you don't run out of energy
When you unlock the kitchen, it's important to cook meals that will provide you with energy, as your energy bar at the start of the game is always low. You'll unlock new recipes as you collect new ingredients.
6. Collect the small scrolls scattered around the village
Feel free to explore the area and pick up any scrolls you find along the way. They unlock decorative items and much more.
7. Free energy at night
At the start of the game, your energy bar is always very low. You can get energy by eating meals, but you can also pick up floating green lights scattered around the village. Picking them up increases your energy, which can be very useful at the end of the day.
8. Explore dungeons whenever you can
Dungeons in Azoria are places of limitless resources, and Fae Farm's first story quests will lead you to the first of them: Saltwater Mines. It's important to be well-prepared before entering the dungeons, so be sure to stock up on food and potions. The resources you collect will enable you to upgrade your tools.
9. Improve your tools
Improving your tools will enable you to collect resources much more quickly.
10. Be efficient with the Azoria map
Open your map and select any NPC to get a tracking arrow that will take you straight to him. On the map, you can also see if he has a quest available. Main and festival quests appear as a diamond with an exclamation mark inside, so check them as soon as you see them.
11. Pay attention to the seasons
It's important to know that there are 4 seasons in Azoria: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each brings new creatures, new fish, new plants and new seeds.
