Most games of this type don't offer a multiplayer mode. Fortunately, Fae Farm has launched a full version with an active multiplayer mode. Read this article to find out more!

First of all, before you can play in online multiplayer mode, you need to create a Phoenix Labs account and add the person you want to play Fae Farm with as a friend. Next, you need to create a new character each time you join a new person's world. You can only access this new character if you're on that person's server. You can't bring your original, higher-level character to another player's town.

It will be possible to play co-op games on Fae Farm in one of 2 multiplayer modes:

1. Online multiplayer mode

For this mode, each player must have his or her own device, copy of the game and controller.

2. Split-screen local multiplayer mode

Fae Farm supports local games. So you can both play on the sofa, side by side.

All you need to do is select Multiplayer in the settings when you're in the game, then select Local Host. Local play is especially made for Nintendo Switch users.

For this mode, up to 4 players will be supported. This means that the screen can be split into 4 sections.

  • It's important to know that when you play multiplayer, all players share currency and quests. Other players can also access the host's storeroom and tend to his garden and livestock.
  • Lastly, as a guest on someone's server, check the mailbox first. The mailbox contains rewards and items intended for sharing. It's also where you'll find your magic wand in multiplayer mode.
