Toadofsky's melodies

In this Super Mario RPG Walkthrough, you'll find the complete guide to completing Toadofsky's melodies with all the secret chests.

First melody

You'll get this quest when you arrive at Tadpole Pond. Go to the right of the area to reach a small area of water where you can talk to a Tadpole. He'll tell you about Toadofsky's Melodies and give you the first melody, So La Mi Re Do Re Do Re.

Go to the next area on the right to see lines in the water in the shape of sheet music. Your aim is to jump on the tadpole when they are in the right position of the melody notes. Take a look at our image below for the correct location.

By completing the first melody, you'll obtain new items from the tadpole store in the upper left-hand area.

Part two

Once you've obtained the Third Star Piece, return to Taupinie to enter the Taupinie Mines.

Return to the area where you blew up the rock and talk to the moles. This will give you the second melody. Return to Tadpole Lake to begin the second tune: Mi, Do, So, Do, Re, La, Si, Do

Part three

Once you've reached Monstrepaire, enter the room on the bottom left, near the springboard. Go upstairs to interact with the star. You'll then get the last melody:  La, Si, Do, Re, So, Do, Re, Mi .

Play the melody again to obtain the Soprano Card. You can then buy a Tadpole-Cola, 2-Paw-Cola, 4-Paw-Cola and a Croaka Cola.
