Bloodlines

In this Final Fantasy XVI walkthrough, we'll explain the full path of the "Bloodlines" quest from the Act II.

Open your map to reach the Hawk's Cry Cliff , you will then automatically activate the Monotlith. You'll now be able to access fast travel again. In particular, you can join Notorious Mark Aruna and Belphegor.

Hawk's Cry Cliff is a large area you can explore to find items as well as gain experience. You'll need to reach the northeast of your position for this mission.

Cross the bridge to start a cinematic in which you discover the village of Amber. Talk to two villagers to learn more about the situation. The first villager is right next to the merchant. The second is further on, in front of a house. You can also visit the merchant's store.

Look behind the house on the left to find a Treasure Chest. Then talk to the villager seated on a bench outside a house, before the village exit.

After the cinematic, head out of the village to Port Isolde. You'll meet some Aberration. on your way, beat them and pick up and take the objects next to them.

You can choose to continue to the left or right. Head left to reach the large area. Head left again to find the Bull Horn Braid accessory in a special Treasure Chest.

Continue along the path and take the next left, which leads to a dead-end with 3 pieces of Wyrrite.

Then take the right-hand path and follow it, staying on the left-hand path. At the crossroads, you'll find a new object source.

Arriving at the end of the paths, you'll find an enemy to fight. After the fight, pick up the white treasure chest.

Continue down the narrow path and get rid of the Black Shields at the end. These enemies will be accompanied by Wyrms. Go down the right-hand path and cross the bridge to start a cinematic sequence, followed by a fight against the Black Shields.   

Once the fight is over, head to the wooden gates to reach Auldhyl and activate the Auldhyl Docks Obelisk. In this village, there are a few treasures around Auldhyl that you can pick up before continuing.

Head southeast of Auldhyl to find a treasure chest containing a Demonic Scarfnear a house.

Head north past the wooden bridge to find a treasure chest containing 10 pieces of Wyrrite. Head north to a quay to find another chest. 

Leave the village of Auldhyl via the west exit, then continue along the path to the southwest. Follow the dirt road and you'll reach the Bewit Bridge. Go straight ahead to find a coffin to the right of the carriages.

Pass under the arches and walk along the path to reach the beach on the left (if you're consulting the map). Go down to the beach to pick up the item source and get rid of the crabs.

Head southwest to activate the Port Isolde Obelisk. As you approach the gates, a cinematic ending to this quest from Final Fantasy XVI.
