Cloak and Dagger
In this Final Fantasy XVI walkthrough, we'll explain the full path of the "Cloak and Dagger" quest from the Act III.
Joshua will join your group at the start of the quest. Head south into the The Krozjit Echoes. Head left and follow the path to a Couerl. Eliminate it and pick up the 3Desert Roses and a White Treasure Chest. It contains an Regal Sash.
Continue south through the fallen ruins, where you'll battle a few fallen enemies. Check the right-hand side of the battlefield for 3 pins of Enchanted Ash.
Go back and cross the bridge to fight enemies. Move forward to join new enemies. After the battle, go to the small path on the right to find 3 Desert Roses and a Fallen Guardian at the end of the path.
Continue on your way to reach some flying enemies. Then pick up 3 Animal Crocs near a Chocobo. As you head south, you'll see a wounded soldier who will give you the Bad Blood side quest.
Head east of the soldier to find the camp. Check the southwest area near some tents for 3 Thick Skins. There's a white Treasure Chest behind a tent to the north. It contains an Empty Shard, 25 pieces of Wyrrite and 25 Sharp Fangs. Head northeast of the camp to find a broken wooden bridge with a white treasure chest.
Continue on your way to the Ruins, where you'll find 6 Desert Roses on the left.
Now move forward to get to the town of Tabor and you'll reach the town. Go immediately to the right to activate the Obelisk of Tabor.
Then enter the house next to the Obelisk to start a scene.
Before leaving Tabor, you can find a store and two side quests:
You'll find some relatively common treasures in the town if you want to explore. Afterwards, head south of Tabor to begin a cinematic. You'll meet Cyril and obtain the Phoenix Down Seal.
Continue on your way to Kanver, getting rid of the enemies in your path. You can use this time to explore and find various resources that won't be needed for the rest of the adventure.
When you arrive, you'll unlock the Gilded Path Obelisk and start a cinematic. Your next destination is the Free Cities of Kanver. You'll also unlock three new side missions in the other zones:
