In this Final Fantasy XVI walkthrough, we'll explain the full path of the "Into the Darkness" quest from the Act III.

Join the mission marker to the south to start a scene. Byron will leave your group and must join Drake's Fang on the world map.

Move forward to be spotted by Orcish Fodders and Black Mastiffs who are powerful enemies. These creatures aren't very fast, and you'll need to move while avoiding their attacks to strike back.

Once the fight is over, go under the small passage. You'll have to fight some Orcs again. Eliminate them and activate the lever to the left of the large door.

Go through the door and take the 3 pins of Magicked Ash and eliminate the Orcs. After the fight, go to the room on the left to find a treasure chest containing 10 spools of Steelsilk, 10 Bloody Hides and 10 pins of Magicked Ash. Go to the room on the right to find a Potion.

Go through the big door to face new enemies. Be careful, as two Orcish Mesmerizers will target you from afar on platforms. Use Deadly Embrace to take them down. Enemy reinforcements will join the fight.

Once the fight is over, go and activate a lever to the left of the door. In the next room, you'll find a Treasure Chest containing the accessory the Favour of Lightning (Lightning Rod). You'll also find a Potion next to it.

Open the door on the right and climb the stairs, eliminating any Orcs you encounter. At the top, you'll find 2 Sharp Fangs.

Pass through the gate to confront an Orcish Warlord. This enemy will be able to launch a burst of energy as well as a series of magical explosions. Remember to perform a Staggers, which is your best chance of beating him.

After the fight, activate the lever to the left of the large door. You'll find 3 chunks of Wyrrite on the left and a High Potion. Go straight ahead to see a potion on the left-hand balustrade.

Go straight through the door to begin the fight against the Undertaker. This enemy will start the fight against The Undertaker begins with Spirits Within, which is a ray that will move. He'll also be able to charge towards you and do a downward punch attack. Finally he also has an attack in the air that makes a shockwave when he lands.

Staggering the Undertaker once, it will use Exhume making bursts of energy around it. Dodge the blue energy near you to avoid the attack.

Completing the battle earns you 350 EXP, 170 ability points and 4,050 gils. As for items, you gain the Favour of Lightning (Thunderstorm) accessory, 18 Sharp Fangs and 18 Magicked Ash.

Go to the top of the stairs (whichever side you're on) to start fighting enemies. More enemies will come as you approach the large door in the center.

Before passing through the gate, head southwest to find a treasure chest containing 1160 gils. Head southeast to find Steelsilk.

Go through the gates to fight other enemies, you'll receive a tutorial on bravery. Eliminate enemies quickly, as bravery inflicts extra damage. Reinforcements will also join the fight.

After a while, the Titan will use the Voice of the Land attack, which sends up shards of earth. He can also throw rocks at you.

Constantly dodge Titan's attacks with precision dodges and counters. You'll also be able to perform aerial combos easily, given Titan's size.

After the first Stagger, Titan will move away and throw several boulders at you. You won't be able to hit him with physical attacks, so use Ifrit's fireballs. Ifrit will eventually obtain the skill "Brimstone".

Titan will make the Screep Jet attack, which you'll need to avoid by holding R2 and carré to charge Brimstone.
