Holding On

In this Final Fantasy XVI walkthrough, we'll explain the full path of the "Holding On" quest from the Act I.

Before continuing the adventure, you should know that you'll now have access to the three side quests Crystalline Lifeline, False Friends and Beast Against Beast.

Now go north of the Hameau de l'Auberge de Martha into the bridge, which is now repaired. Cross the bridge to enter the Greensheaves.

You can search the area for several optional adventure snacks. Continue along the path to join Frederic, who will give you the side quest Beast Against Beast.

Then follow the path across the bridge. You can also head east to explore this new area.

Cross the bridge to reach Eastpool and start a cinematic. The Obelisk of Eastpoolwill be automatically activated. You'll also get the Invictus weapon, the Metian Bonds vambraces, and the Metian Cross belt, which will be automatically equipped.

Eastpool is a small village, but there are three treasure chests without very interesting items. Heading northwest towards wooden gate, you'll pass a shop. This is a good time to stock up on potions if you need them.

Head northwest towards the wooden gate to start a cinematic. This will bring you to the end of this FF16 quest.
