The High Keep
In this walkthrough for Hogwarts Legacy, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: The High Keep.
Before you can begin the game's main feature: The High Keep, it's important to note that you'll need to complete Professor Garlick Assignment I in order to acquire the Wingardium Leviosa spell, as this is a prerequisite. To learn this spell, you'll need to obtain and use a Poisonous Tentacula and a Mandrake on several enemies at once. Once you've completed these tasks, you'll need to attend a botany class during the day.
Once you've learned the Wingardium Leviosa spell, join Natty on the outskirts of Falbarton Castle. She'll ask you to help her break into the castle to find a letter which will prove that there is a coalition between Rookwood and Harlow, so that they can be stopped.
Move to the right-hand side of the gate and you'll see a ditch and a pile of objects that appear to form a staircase. Climb these objects to reach the top.
Once at the top, you'll find yourself in front of a mechanism and a gate. Use the Repulso spell on the mechanism to open the gate and enter. Use the Accio spell to pull the crate out and move it to the right-hand side. You'll see a platform. Place the crate at the bottom of this platform, making sure it's on its side by using Accio several times to climb up...
Continue on your way. You'll find yourself in front of some wooden planks. Use the Repulso spell to enter. A crate will block your path, and you'll have to exit this small room and continue to the right (as if you hadn't seen the wooden planks) to find a small window in which you can use the Accio spell to move the crate away and clear the path into the small room you've just found.
Return to the small room and use the passage you've just unlocked. You'll find yourself face to face with another mechanism. Use the Repulso spell 3 times on the mechanism to lift the gates. Immediately afterwards, hurry to use the Accio spell on the small handle to drop a platform, which will prevent the grid from descending. This action will lift the entrance gate, allowing Natty to enter the castle.
Follow Natty, and a cinematic sequence will appear in which Aile-Céleste defends herself against the poachers. Natty rushes in just in time before the doors close, leaving you alone outside. You'll have to find a way to reach Natty.
To get to the roof, start by climbing the platform on your right. Keep climbing until you reach a dead end. Then take the stairs at the bottom of the balcony you find yourself on. However, there's a gap between the 2 staircases. You'll need to run with momentum to be able to jump onto the other stair platform.
- Attack enemies in your path with your spells. Don't forget to explore to find the chests scattered around.
You'll be faced with a door that you can open using the Alohomora spell you learned earlier. Complete the mini-game to unlock the door. As you enter, climb the platform on your right to continue to the top.
Suddenly, you'll be confronted by several Poachers. Attack them with your spells and continue on your way. Unlock the door in front of you once more and climb to the top. You'll find Aile-Céleste and another Hippogriffe. Natty will arrive just in time before the other enemies arrive.
You'll then find yourself on Celestial Wing's back, in control of the hippogriff. Just follow Natty. She'll tell you that Roodwood is looking for a Phoenix. And so the quest: The High Keep ends, making way for your next main quest in Hogwarts Legacy: Back on the Path.
