Scrope's Last Hope (Slytherin)

In this walkthrough for Hogwarts Legacy, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: Scrope's Last Hope (Slytherin).

Please note that this quest is only available if you have chosen to join the Slytherin House at the start of the game. This quest will not be available for other houses.

Once you've read Scrope's letter, head off to the clock tower courtyard at Hogwarts to pick up the mysterious note on the fountain.

Then cross the bridge across the courtyard and use Accio to move the crate to retrieve the second note. Head to the mission marker and pull the pumpkin to the right of the scarecrow to find the 3rd note.

Head to the nearby beach to join Scrope. After your conversation, head into the cave to interact with the column.

Now enter the hiding place to take notes, or search the chest to activate the side quest "Ghost of Our Love". Then return to Scrope to complete this main quest.
