Welcome to Hogsmeade
In this walkthrough for Hogwarts Legacy, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: Welcome to Hogsmeade.
Once you've chosen your companion to accompany you to Hogsmeade and learned the Reparo spell with Professor Ronen, head to the character who will accompany you near the entrance to Hogwarts.
Follow the character who will take you to Hogsmeade. While you're walking, don't hesitate to pick up the resources on the ground - they'll have a yellow aura to let you know they're there. These resources will come in handy later in the game, when it's time to concoct potions, for example.
On the way, you'll also meet Mr. Moon, Hogwarts' janitor, who seems a little drunk. He'll warn you about a Demiguise. Continue on your way, however, as you need to procure materials for your lessons.
When you arrive in Hogsmeade, you'll be left to your own devices. Take the opportunity to explore the surroundings, discover hidden chests outside or even in the stores, and catch flying pages using the Accio spell. Most of the buildings aren't accessible at the moment, but that shouldn't be too long. In addition, remember to use the Revelio spell to find the pages of the Wizard's Field Guide that are invisible to the naked eye.
Finding these and other flying pages will increase your EXP, enabling you to level up faster and unlock new features in the story.
To complete the quest, you'll need to visit each of the stores to obtain the materials required for each of your courses.

- Visit the Tomes and Parchments store
- Visit the Potion Shop
- Visit the Magic Turnip
Once you've made all your purchases, meet your companion downtown. By the time you meet up, Hogsmeade will be under attack from a giant troll. Use the spells you've learned in your classes to protect and defend yourself. At some point during the fight, you'll be able to invoke ancient magic with the corresponding command.
At the end of the fight, you'll get the "There's no troll" trophy. Afterwards, help Ruth Singer repair 7 damages in Hogsmeade with the Reparo spell. Then head for the shopkeeper, who will give you a traditional student outfit. Outfits and equipment improve your offensive and defensive abilities.
Follow your companion to the Three Broomsticks. On the way, you overhear a conversation between Ranrok and Victor Rookwood. Continue on to the Three Broomsticks. Once there, you'll meet Sirona Ryan, the owner, and catch a glimpse of Lodgok.
Suddenly, Victor Rookwood and Theophilus make their appearance at the Three Broomsticks, but are quickly expelled by Sirona. At the end of this altercation, it's time to return to Hogwarts.
Join your companion in front of The Three Broomsticks and open the map to return to your common room more quickly using the Floo Flames spot. This concludes the quest: Welcome to Hogsmeade, making way for your next main quest in Hogwarts Legacy: The Locket's Secret.
