Part 1: Forbidden Cavern

In this Sea of Stars walkthrough, we'll take you through this part of the game in its entirety.

Once you've entered the Forbidden Cavern, head for the cave on the left. Move forward to face the 3 Luslugs. Once the enemies have been defeated, climb the wall on the left to reach the platform puzzle.

Platform puzzle

Simply stand on the platform and lower it to the bottom, which will then raise another platform nearby. This will allow you to climb using the platforms that have just appeared on the right. Continue climbing the wall to reach the exit at the top right.

You'll find yourself on the high platform of the Forbidden Cavern. Head for the mini-platform in the center to cross to the other side (see image below). Open the chest on the other side to receive an adventurer's vest.

Continue towards the cave entrance on the right, where you'll once again have to face the 3 Luslugs. Make your way up the platforms, and you'll see a lock in front of you, but the key is in the chest at the top. To access it, simply place yourself on the platform on the right, which will now give you access to the chest on the top left.

Once you've retrieved the key, go down and activate the lever to lower the platforms and reveal the lock at the beginning. Then enter the new passage. Here you'll find a mushroom soup and a shiny pearl. What's more, Valere and Zale have learned a new combo skill. Continue to the left.

You'll find yourself on the 3rd floor of the Forbidden Cavern. Climb the wall in front of you and head for the chest on the left to receive an item. Then stand on the platform on the right to lower it and unlock the door in the center of the Forbidden Cavern. This action will release 3 more Luslugs, so attack them all and move forward, entering the newly unlocked entrance.

You'll need to activate a bridge. To do this, start by heading for the entrance on the right. Rest in front of the campfire if you need to, then continue upwards.

Defeating Bosslug

It's time to face Bosslug. This boss is not difficult to defeat. However, it is important to be well-equipped with dishes to heal yourself if necessary.

Bosslug can inflict 3 types of attack:

• Boulder Drop: Boulders fall on you, inflicting around 10-15 points of damage. Try to block when the boulder lands on you.
• Mud shot: Mud falls on you, inflicting minor damage. Try to block it when it hits you.
• Acid Bug Bombs: This attack summons small enemies. Make sure you target them first, preferably with attacks that can reach several enemies at once.

We advise you to eliminate the small purple enemies when they appear as quickly as possible to avoid receiving damage from them in addition to the Bosslug. Use your skills and combos to inflict as much damage as possible until the Bosslug is defeated. Don't forget that you can block damage by pressing the right key at the right time.

Once the Bosslug has been defeated, head for the entrance in front of you from which the Bosslug emerged, where you'll find 2 chests. Open them to receive 60 coins and an adventurer's vest, then climb out onto the small platform on the right that has just appeared. Once out of the Forbidden Cavern, a mysterious cinematic appears.
