Bandit's Way

In this Super Mario RPG Walkthrough, you'll find the complete guide to completing Bandit's Way with all the secret chests and a guide to beating Crocro.

If your characters need to be healed, you can go to the Mario's Pad to interact with the nightlight to take a rest. This will restore all your Life Points and Flower Points. Once you're ready, head for the Bandit's Way, where you'll see Croco running away.

You can now meet special enemies who will give you more experience and coins, and with a bit of luck, frog coins. However, beware of Batrax, which can kill you in two hits. If you come across them, it's best to use the special attacks to win the battle more quickly.

You should also be aware that Flower Points are pooled with all your team members. So you'll need to be careful about when you use them.  

Now head down right to exit the first area.  You'll see Croco who will quickly run away. 

Jump onto the turning flower to reach the hill above. Jump onto the yellow platforms and head right. If you fall, you can return to the yellow platforms by jumping on them as normal.

Once you've reached the area on the right, don't enter the path, but stand on the pink flower to jump to the right to reach the purple flower. You'll then find a Secret Chest containing a Croaka Cola. This item is a consumable that allows you to recover all your team's HP.

From the third area, head to the very top right to battle the Griffin, who is blocking access to a chest containing a Mushroom.

Try to fight the various enemies to get Mallow up to Level 4. He'll then gain the ability "HP Rain". This technique allows you to heal your team by quickly pressing the A button.

Join Croco in the fourth area of the Bandit Trail, where you'll see him jumping onto yellow platforms. Jump on the yellow platforms to make them move under the chests to get  1x Temporary Invulnerability Star in the first chest on the left as well as 1x Flower in the chest on the right.

Now head to the right to reach the last area in which you'll do battle with Croco. Take the Mushroom from the Chest at the beginning of the area. 

Croco will go behind some hills, wait for him to turn his head and surprise him from behind. Repeat this action three more times for Mallow to block him. This will start the battle against the Boss: "Croco".

Croco has 288 health points. Mario's special techniques, such as "Fireball" is effective in causing him a lot of damage. When you need him, Mallow can heal your team using his abilities and Mushrooms.

Once half his hit points have been removed, Croco will use a Weird Mushroom to add 60 HP. By winning the fight, you'll get 1x Flower Capsule and Mallow's Frog Piece. Then pick up the Wallet on the floor and open the game menu, to select the world map to return to Mushroom Kingdom.
