Final Fantasy XVI, already over 3 million players

LONDON (June 28, 2023) - Square Enix has announced the sales results for the physical and digital versions of FFXVI. This new opus in the Final Fantasy license has sold more than three million copies since its worldwide launch on June 22, 2023;

Final Fantasy XVI, is currently exclusive to PlayStation 5 until December 31, 2023. You'll play as Clive Rosfield, in an all-new story that takes them on a dark fantasy epic set in the kingdoms of Valisthea. Clive, a warrior who has been given the title of "First Shield of Rosaria", is sworn to protect his younger brother Joshua, the Fire Phoenix Eikon. Before long, Clive will be caught up in a great tragedy and swear vengeance on the Eikon known as Ifrit, a mysterious entity that brings calamity in its wake.

The FFXVI demo is the perfect opportunity for players to immerse themselves in the realms of Valisthea and discover the beginnings of protagonist Clive Rosfield's epic story. A demo gives players access to the opening prologue, with a save of your progress that can be transferred to the full game.
