The Xbox Live Gold subscription will officially give way to Xbox Game Pass Core on September 14. Xbox Game Pass Core will become the entry-level offering of Game Pass, priced at 9.99$ per month.
Available for several years now, Xbox Live Gold will evolve to enrich the subscription with a launch collection of over 25 titles from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda and the firm's other partners. Subsequently, new titles will be added at a rate of 2 to 3 times a year.
Existing Xbox Live Gold members will be automatically transferred to Game Pass Core, with no change in price, and will be able to keep all their Xbox 360 titles, regardless of their Game Pass subscription. However, to access Xbox One games, they will need to subscribe to Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate. The Games with Gold program will end on September 1, 2023.
