How Ordinances Work?
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, ordinances play an important role in the development of your village. In this guide to ordinances, we'll explain what they're used for and what their benefits are.
First of all, it's important to know that there are 4 different types of ordinances, each with its own function and advantage. They allow you to enhance your Animal Crossing: New Horizons gaming experience. It will cost you 20,000 bells to set up an ordinance.
The Beautiful Island Ordinance:
This ordinance will allow you to achieve a beautiful village as your villagers start watering your flowers and picking up the weeds. The chances of catching garbage will be greatly reduced, and the appearance of cockroaches will become rarer. Hybrid flowers will appear more often.
* PS: On the other hand, the weed resource will be a little more difficult once the ordinance is in place. This could be detrimental if you're thinking of making DIY recipes that require these resources.
Early Bird Ordinance:
This ordinance is extremely useful for early risers, as your villagers will be up and about an hour earlier. What's more, the Nook's Cranny and the Fairy Finger Sisters' store will open an hour earlier. At 7 a.m. instead of 8 a.m.
* PS: Shops close at the same time as usual, 10 p.m.
Night Owl Ordinance:
This ordinance is extremely useful for players who play Animal Crossing a little later at night, as your villagers return home to sleep a little later than normal. What's more, the Nook's Cranny store and the Fairy Finger Sisters' store will close an hour later. At 11pm instead of 10pm.
* PS: Shops open at the same time as usual, 8 a.m.
Bell Boom Ordinance:
This ordinance is very useful for players who want to increase their number of bells by selling fish or insects. This ordinance will slightly modify the economy of your village. The value of items sold in both the Nook's Cranny and the Fairy Finger Sisters' stores will increase. On the other hand, the value of the items you sell in the Nook's Cranny store will also increase.
* PS: The Nook's Cranny will buy your items for 1.2x bells more than the original value. However, this will not affect the price of turnips.
Once you've made your choice, the ordinance you've selected will be put in place the following day.
