It's All Gobbledegook

In this walkthrough for Hogwarts Legacy, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: It's All Gobbledegook.

It's important to note that to access the quest: It's All Gobbledegook, you'll need to have completed the side quest: Professor Weasley's Asssignment to learn the Transformation spell. This is the prerequisite for this main quest. 

Learning Transformation

To learn this spell, you'll need to complete several tasks:

• Retrieve the wizard's guide page from the underground port.
• Retrieve the Sorcerer's Guide page from the Middle Grade Metamorphosis textbook in the library:

Say these answers to Sophronia Franklin's questions. If you answer correctly, she'll give you a book that will allow you to retrieve the wizard's page: 

• The Golden Snidget
• Felix Felicis
• The Deathly Hallows
• The Quaffle
• False

Once you've completed these tasks, head to the metamorphosis class to learn the Transformation spell.

It's All Gobbledegook

Once you've completed the side quest: Professor Weasley's Assignment and learned the Transformation spell, head for Amit in the astronomy tower. You'll need to ask him for help, as he seems to be the only one who speaks Gobelbabil. He'll agree and ask you to meet him in front of the mine. 

Meet Amit and Lodgok at the entrance to the mine, south of Hogwarts. Lodgok will inform you that the plan with the Helm of Urtkot didn't work and that the enemies are looking for "deposits", which are large receptacles made of goblin metal and reinforced with magic. What's more, Lodgok won't be able to accompany you, to avoid raising suspicion with Rannrok. 

Once the discussion is over, head with Amit to the goblin mine. To enter, use the Disillusion spell to avoid being seen by the eye above the entrance. 

Once inside, you'll see a room with pipes and machinery. Use a fire spell (Confringo, Incendio) and burn the wood under the chimney. This will allow you to use the elevator to progress. To go down, use the mechanism in the elevator.  

Exiting the elevator, head for the corridor on the right. Use the Accio spell to pull a handle and head for the platform. Pull the platform towards you and then out the other side. Attack any enemies in your path. You'll arrive at another door. Simply use the Disillusionment spell again to avoid being seen by the eye above the entrance. 

Continue on your way. Use another fire spell (Confringo, Incendio) and burn the wood under the chimney on your right. Then walk through the tunnel and explore the many rooms. Your aim is to find evidence of Rannrok's plan: 

• The first proof is on the table in the room you arrive in just after opening the door and going through the tunnel. 
• The second proof is on another long table on the second floor, a room in the right-hand corridor. 
• To find the third proof, starting from the room where you found the 2nd proof on the long table on the second floor, go downstairs and head for the room on the right, which will lead you to a kitchen, where you'll observe another tunnel. Pass through here and you'll find the proof on a barrel to the left of another sloping entrance.
• Use the slope and continue on your way. You'll find yourself in a large room with several enemies. Once you've defeated the enemies, head for the fireplace and light it. Then use the Accio spell to pull the handle down to unlock the entrance on the left, where there's a waterfall. Use this path to reach the next door, where you'll need to use the Disillusion spell for the 3rd time to attack the enemies. Once inside, don't forget to light the fire under the fireplace and activate the handle with the Accio spell. Finally, you'll find the last piece of evidence, Rannrok's plan, on the table at the far end of the room. 

Don't forget to explore the mine for chests, go out and chat with Amit followed by Lodgok to share your findings. And so the quest: It's All Gobbledegook comes to an end, making way for your next main quest in Hogwarts Legacy: In the Shadow of the Mine.
