Impa and the Geoglyphs

In this walkthrough for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: Impa and the Geoglyphs.

To unlock this main quest, head for New Serenne Stable northwest of Lookout Standing and chat with Cado on the roadside as he'll tell you where Impa is.

Then head for Impa, who will tell you about the drawings that have materialized on the ground since Princess Zelda disappeared. Impa is convinced that these drawings, called geoglyphs, can be clues to finding her.

First, repair the nearby hot-air balloon by using Ultrahand to glue the balloon in place, then talk Impa into getting on it. Then light a torch and burn the center of the balloon to lift it into the air.

Once at the top, Impa will tell you about a Dragon's Tear. To find this tear, simply observe the geoglyph and look at the tear, which appears to be colored white, unlike the others on the geoglyph. Jump towards this tear to examine the small puddle to find your first Dragon's Tear and unlock Memories 03 "Lost".

At the end of the cinematic, Impa will inform you that there are other geoglyphs in the kingdom of Hyrule. She'll direct you to Hebra to continue your search for the other geoglyphs. This concludes the main quest: Impa and the Geoglyphs.
