Makasura Shrine

In this Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom shrine guide, we'll give you the complete solution for the Makasura Shrine, with all the puzzles and chests you'll come across.

You'll find this Shrine from the south of Kakariko Village, at the top of a hill. Once in front of the Shrine entrance, activate the magic circle to enter and be able to teleport there next time.

Once inside, step into the room and use Ascend's ability to climb up. You'll come across a platform attached to a Zonai device. Strike the Soneau artifact to raise the platform vertically. Climb up to the top and use your Paraglider to reach the platform on the other side.

Once on the other side, move the same type of platform in front of the grid blocking access to a sphere. You'll need this sphere to progress to the next game.

Once on the other side of the grid, use Ultrahand to drop (not stick) the sphere into the small bowl at the end of the platform.

At this point, you can access a chest at the top. Use the platform to access the chest. Open it to receive a Fairy Tonic.

Then activate the platform to eject the sphere to the other side of the grid. Use Ascend to exit and place the sphere in the orange circle. This action unlocks another grid, giving you access to another platform with a bowl at the end.

This object will allow you to project yourself to the other side to join the magic circle and receive a Light of Blessing. Simply glue the 2 platforms together and you'll be able to project yourself quite far. Once the 2 platforms have been glued together, climb into the bowl and shoot an arrow at the Zonai device to be projected to the other side.

Try to complete as many Shrines as possible in order to receive all the Light of Blessing and accumulate as many Heart Receptacles as possible or Stamina from the goddess statue.
