Camera Work in the Depths
In this walkthrough for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: Camera Work in the Depths.
After completing the main quest: Crisis at Hyrule Castle - Part 1, we recommend that you start with : Camera Work in the Depths before proceeding to : Regional Phenomena. The quest can also be unlocked in the Lookout Standing by talking to Josha and Robbie. Completing this quest will unlock the Purah Pad's camera feature and the Hyrule Encyclopedia in the Purah Pad's, which will be extremely useful for the rest of the quests. Before you leave, Josha will give you 10 Brightbloom Seeds and 5 wooden Arrows.
Exit the Lookout Standing and then head for the Hyrule Field Chasm, simply jumping into the middle of it without touching the miasma to land in the Depths. Once inside, talk to the Soneau archaeology group. He'll tell you how to find Robbie, and that Brightbloom Seeds will come in very handy here.
Move first towards the light mentioned by Alune, as this Oïnis Oiz Root is a great source of light and will also enable you to teleport to this location if required. Then head west in search of Robbie. The campfires are clues to Robbie's whereabouts. Read the notes and continue on your way.
At a certain point, climb a rock and jump to avoid the miasma that can inflict damage to reach the 2nd campfire left by Robbie. Read the notes and continue on your way.
You'll encounter enemy encampments along the way. The quickest and easiest way to eliminate enemies is to shoot an arrow with a flower bomb attached to it. The explosion will inflict a lot of damage on the enemies. Avoid being hit or attacked by them, as they'll do a lot of damage to you too. Once the enemies have been defeated, collect as many Zonaites as possible. Do the same for any other enemy camps you come across. It's a great way to collect Zonaite and new resources.
Then head for another root, the Iäy Usus Root, where Robbie is located. Examine it to release its large light source and it will also allow you to teleport to this location if necessary. Then talk to Robbie, just to the left of the root.
He'll introduce you to the Purah Pad's camera feature and the Hyrule Encyclopedia, now available on your Purah Pad's. He will then ask you to take a photo of the humanoid statue for Josha. Once you've taken the photo, teleport to the Lookout Standing to share your discovery with Josha. You'll be rewarded with 5 Zonaites.
And so the main quest Camera Work in the Depths comes to an end, making way for your next main quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Regional Phenomena (Part 1).
