The Heroines' Secret
In this Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom side quest guide, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the side quest: The Heroines' Secret.
This mission is triggered by your conversation with Rotana, located in the Gerudo shelter. She's standing right in front of the entrance to the mural that Riju will talk about in the main quest: Riju of Gerudo Town.
She'll ask you to take a picture of 4 stabs so as to be able to decipher the inscriptions. All stelae are located in the Gerudo shelter. Find the 4 similar stabs shown by Rotana.
Where to find the 1st stelae
The first stelae is easy enough to find. It's on the other side of the wall. Walk towards the mural at the far end of the Gerudo shelter and turn left. You'll be faced with a pile of rocks. Use the appropriate weapon to break the rocks, or simply use a Bomb Flower. This will reveal a hidden stelae just below. Take a photo of the stelae to be able to show it to Rotana later.
Where to find the 2nd stelae
The second stelae is located inside the jail cell in the Gerudo shelter. It's not possible to access the prison simply by talking to the guard outside the door. You'll have to find another way.
Head for the room to the left of the prison, where you'll find a bottle symbol at the top of the entrance (see image below). Once inside the room, head for the corner on the right and destroy all the pots to enter the small space (break the pots to receive Red Rupees). From here, use Ascend's ability to find your way inside the jail cell. Take a photo of the stelae to be able to show it to Rotana later. To get out of the jail cell, simply speak to the guard in front of the door.
Where to find the 3rd stelae
The third stelae is located in the classroom area, in the corridor to the right of the Gerudo shelter main room. Once inside the classroom area, you'll see several dummies. To see the stelae, simply stand in the place of the missing dummy. Then zoom the camera in to get the right angle and take a picture of the stelae.
Where to find the 4th stelae
The 4th stelae is in the back room (you have to cross the classroom area to get to the next room). A piece will be missing. Simply remove the sand in front of the stelae to reveal the missing piece. Then use your Ultrahand ability to glue the missing piece back onto the stelae. Take a photo of the stelae to be able to show it to Rotana later.
Once you've found and photographed all 4 stabs, head to Rotana to share your findings. She'll tell you about the 6 orbs to be found in Gerudo Town, part of another side quest: The Mysterious Eighth. The first orb will appear in front of you. As a reward, you'll receive 100 Rupees. This concludes the mission: The Heroines' Secret.
