To the Kingdom of Hyrule
In this walkthrough for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: To the Kingdom of Hyrule.
Jump down from the top of the Temple of Time and land in the water. Explore the surrounding area and collect as many resources as you can.
Head for the ruined pillars. Attack the creature guarding it and climb up. Burn the pile of leaves and lift the rock to find a Korok. You'll receive 1 Korok Seed.
Continue on to other ruined pillars, and you'll find an abandoned ranch. Open the chest to receive 20 Rupees.
Then head for the Ranch Ruins Cave. You'll face a new enemy called Bokoblin. To defeat him, simply shoot him with an arrow bow; as he falls to the ground, hurry to inflict sword blows. Once the enemy has been eliminated, continue on to the Grotto in the Ranch Ruins.
Move forward into the cave, and to your left you'll see a small area with lumo Champis. Crouch down to enter and collect any resources you find. You'll even find a traveler's bow on the ground.
Exit here and head a little further into the cave. At the ceiling of the cave, use your bow to shoot an Adhesive Lizard as it falls to the ground. Pick it up, as it will be able to help you concoct a remedy to make climbing easier in wet weather.
Then use Ascend's ability to climb to the top platform. Here you'll find resources and a chest. Open it to receive a Traveller's Sword.
In the room to the right, you'll find a large glowing frog leaping from the cave ceiling. You'll receive a Bubbulfrog Gem if you can hit it enough times with arrows. Collect the remaining resources and exit the cave.
Then head for the small well near where you are now. It's possible to get there without being seen by the enemy. Take your time and pass by when they're looking the other way.
Once inside, collect the Troglodus lumos in the water and gather resources nearby. Destroy the stone wall with the appropriate weapon (a sword fused into a rock to form a Broadsword Hammer) and collect all the ores. To reach the ore on the ceiling, simply throw your Broadsword Hammer at it several times, and it will shatter. To get out of the shaft, simply use Ascend's ability to climb back up to the top.
Then head for the Lookout Standing. Talk to the people there, who will tell you to go and see Pru'ha. A cinematic appears in which you explain the story so far. You'll learn that Rauru is none other than the first king of Hyrule, and that since your discovery beneath the castle, several ruins have been falling from the Great Sky Islands, not to mention the presence of evil.
Pru'ha will then ask you to join the search party trying to find the princess, located beneath Hyrule Castle, and to speak to Captain Hoz. That's how the main quest: To the Kingdom of Hyrule ends, making way for your next main quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Strange Phenomenon in the Castle.
