The Spirit Temple

In this walkthrough for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we'll give you the complete tutorial for the main quest: The Spirit Temple.

Once you've arrived at the Spirit Temple, you'll need to equip the Mineru Construct with a rocket, as the Construct is too heavy to jump on its own. Once the Construct is equipped, activate the rocket to project the rocket upwards and move inside.

You'll face a statuette in the center of the Temple. Simply stand on the Construct Mineru and interact with the statuette. This action will lower the platform and you'll find yourself in front of the occult stone. To obtain this stone, however, you'll have to face the Scourge of the Spirit Temple: Seized Construct.

For this fight, you'll need to familiarize yourself with the Construct Mineru's controls. It's important to protect yourself from the Seized Construct's attacks, as it inflicts a lot of damage. You can protect yourself by pressing ZL. It's especially important to protect yourself when you see the Seized Construct raising its arms to strike.

To inflict damage on the Seized Construct, you need to strike with Mineru's spiked iron ball bars. Deliver 3-4 blows in succession to the Seized Construct (and protect yourself at the right moment) to push it onto the electric grids around the fighting arena. This is how you inflict the most damage.

Beware of the projectiles the Seized Construct throws at you, and keep moving to avoid them. Continue to protect yourself and inflict blows on the Construct, pushing it onto the electric grids until its life bar is half empty.

Once the Corrupted Construct's bar is halfway down, it becomes a little more menacing, as new arms appear and are able to fly through the air. Make sure you're always on the move to avoid his attacks, and take advantage of the moment he lands on the ground to stun him with blows and push him onto the electric grids. If you don't move, he'll launch projectiles and come straight at you. Continue the same process until the enemy's life bar runs out.

• If your Construct has no equipment, you can pick it up from the ground around the arena.

Once you've defeated the corrupted Construct, you'll receive a heart receptacle. Move on to the occult stone to activate a cinematic in which Mineru will tell you all about the War. Mineru will accept the hidden stone and vow to fight by your side.

You'll now be able to summon the Construct Mineru wherever you are, which will come in handy in future battles.

And so the main quest: The Spirit Temple (Guidance from Ages Past) comes to an end, making way for your next main quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Trail of the Master Sword.
