Here's the guide to completing the wedding season event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. 

The Wedding Season event is a limited-time event (June 1-30) that allows players to assist Harvey on his Photopia Island and win wedding-themed rewards, including furniture and merchandise. 

To access this event, you must have met Harvey, who will invite you to visit his Photopia island (accessible via Dodo Airline). 

Step 1: Version update and Isabelle announcement
First of all, the wedding season runs from June 1 to June 30. When you open the game during this period, an announcement will be made by Isabelle to keep you informed of the event. 

Step 2: Dodo Airline to Photopia, Harvey Island 
Once you've left your home, you'll receive a phone call from Harvey to join him on his island called Photopia to help him with his task. * Go to this page to find out how to get to Harvey's Photopia island. Once you've received the call, go to Dodo Airline and choose Harvey's island (Photopia) as your destination.

Step 3: Help take photos
When you arrive, you'll come across Harvey talking to Reese and Cyrus. They'll ask you to take photos of their event. You'll also be asked to help decorate so you can take some great photos. 

Reese will be asking for your help to recreate scenes from her wedding to Cyrus. To achieve this, you'll need to use special furniture with the wedding theme designed by Cyrus. Once the decorations are ready, talk to Reese about starting the photo shoot. If the couple is happy with your photos, you'll receive one of the random wedding-themed objects and a number of heart crystals. You can then exchange them with Cyrus.

Step 4: REPEAT
Each day, Reese will ask you to decorate according to a different theme. You'll receive a few clues from her about the types of decorations, furniture or colors the couple wants to feature in their photos. Make sure you meet the conditions to receive the rewards.

Here are a few tips to get you started:

  • Make sure you have unlocked Dodo Airline.
  • You must have unlocked Harvey Island (Photopia).
  • If the activity is not proposed by Harvey or mentioned by Isabelle, please update the version of Animal Crossing (also check if you are in June). 
  • You can repeat the photo activity every day until June 30! However, once all the rewards have been collected, there will be no more.
  • Make sure you don't have a full inventory to receive Cyrus' reward. 
  • You can receive up to 11 heart crystals.
  • After your 6th visit, you'll have the opportunity to invite your villagers to attend Reese's creation of their wedding reception. The couple will thank you with a special item: a photo of Reese and Cyrus.
  • On your 7th visit, talk to Harvey to get his thanks and a recipe for a DIY wedding fence. 
  • You can also get a DIY recipe for wedding wands.
  • Talk to Cyrus after the 7th set of photos to unlock the rest of the wedding-themed items you can buy using heart crystals.
